This lovely secluded cliff-top hideaway is just 30 minutes from surfers paradise and 60 minutes from brisbane.
The chalets are on the grounds of the mount tamborine convention centre, which is an alcohol and smoking free area. The property operates as a christian retreat centre and patrons must respect this purpose and comply with the conditions of use.
Accomodation charges are based on a per night fee rather than a per person fee. Each chalet sleeps up to 6 persons in a mixture of one and queen-size beds.The standard fees include 2 adults and 2 children. add-on adults or children will incur supplementary charges.
The chalets are self contained and include full kitchen, dining, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities.
Sit back and enjoy the views from the confidential verandah. Get close to nature. Watch the curious kookaburras and freindly magpies. Listen to the king parrots, rosellas and lorikeets in the nearby trees. Be inspired by the magnificent black cockatoos flying overhead. Observe the wallabies that visit during the punctual morning and evenings to forage around the chalets.
Relax inside on cooler nights with freinds and family around the wood-fired heater.
The chalets are located at the end of a culdesac so there is no through traffic and traffic noise is kept to a minimum.
For those who wish to explore there are numerous rainforest walks, waterfalls, picnic areas, restaurants, cafes, wineries, art and craft galleries, a cheese factories and numerous other attractions, so enjoy your stay at beacon chalets.
